All,

I was wondering how many would be interested in taking a field trip/yarn crawl to the Textile Museum, Looped Yarn Works, and Fiber Space in November as our program for the month.

The schedule would look something like this:

8:00: Admin meeting

8:30: Carpool to the Springfield Metro

9:30 AM: Take metro to Dupont Circle for Looped

10-11:30ish AM: Shop at Looped

11:30-1: Lunch someplace and travel to the Textile Museum (there are options near Looped and near the Textile Museum)

1-4: Textile Museum

4:30: Metro down to Fiber Space

5-7: Shop at Fiber Space

7: Metro back to Springfield

7:30: Head back home

For parking purposes, we could meet and use the Leeland Road VRE lot at  and just carpool from there.

Please use the form below to indicate your interest. Once I get a rough headcount, I can contact the yarn stores and the museum to let them know roughly the size of our group.  Remember, this isn’t until NOVEMBER, so we have some time to plan.

Thanks in advance,

Lesley

  1. Hi, I belong to the Williamsburg Spinners and Weavers Guild. We were wondering if some of our members could tag along on your trip? It sounds like a fun day.

    1. I’m sure we would love to have you all come along. We’ll finalize the plan/schedule at our June meeting and let you know.
