Written by I want to thank all of you for your contributions to helping so many in our community. Over the past several weeks the number of calls for help has drastically increased, probably due to the severe cold weather.
As you all know the highest number of requests have been for baby items such as blankets, sweaters, hats and booties. In addition we need lap blankets, shrugs and shawls.
Since yesterday I have had 3 calls for the above items as well as hats and scarf sets for all sizes as well as baby sweaters larger than newborn (sizes up to one year).
We have an urgent need for baby sweaters up to one year size, baby hats & blankets, hat & scarf sets as well as shrugs, shawls and lap blankets. Anything you can make and turn in asap would be greatly appreciated.
