I have been in touch with Barbara Giese about the Stafford History Fair that we have signed up to participate in.
From what I can gather so far, we will be set up in the school cafeteria with other exhibitors. I plan on talking with Barbara in the next couple of days to firm up plans. I have asked for a table (may only need 1 if it is a large cafeteria size) and some chairs.
To recap the event, it is the Stafford 350 History Fair on Saturday, April 5th (next Saturday!) from 11 – 3, at Mountain View High School, 2135 Mountain View Rd, Stafford, VA 22554. About 25 min. drive from Fredericksburg.
I will find out when we should arrive, and we are asked to enter the school through the left side of the building.
I will bring the banner, brochures, etc. and Judy has passed along the box containing some fun “hand on” items (spindles, etc) that we can use. I will bring the table loom for those to try. Beth, I see you will do carding—perfect. Florence and Lesley, I have you down for spinning–wonderful!
