I have some information that I need to pass along.
First, it’s that time again, please send any inputs for the April newsletter to me by 30 March. Let me know if you have any questions. Also, if you know of a guild member that has not received this notification (and would like them) please have them get in touch with me so that I can get them added to the site.
Second, Keren passed along that she received a request for volunteers to demonstrate spinning & weaving at the Civil War and Emancipation Day, scheduled to take place at Chimborazo Medical Museum (3215 E. Broad Street, Richmond) on Saturday, April 7 from 10 – 4. They would be willing to pay an honorarium. If you are willing and able to participate, please contact either Keren or me and we will get you the information.
For our education and outreach opportunities, we have electronic sign-up forms that you can use for different events. If you are interested in one (or all?) of the demonstration activities, please submit your interest via this FORM.
