Weaving Study Group
The Weavers Study Group consists of guild members interested in learning about specific weaving structures in more depth. We began in 2009, devoting each year to a specific topic. So far we have studied Pattern Drafting, Double Weave, Lace Weave, Bound Weaves and are currently concentrating on Block Weaves.
We try to meet monthly at the studio where we have a loom available to weave our samples on. Dues are $10.00 a year.
Spinner’s Study Group
The Spinner’s Study Group gives the spinners of the guild an opportunity to learn new techniques and practice in a group setting drawing on the experience of others. The group is for all skill levels from super novice, i.e. never spun before, to the expert wanting to learn new advanced skills. The cost for joining the study group is $10 a year for guild members.
