Beginning Spinning (The Magic of Making Yarn out of Fluff)

with Lori Green and Mary Snellings

Learn to turn fluffy fibers like wool into a continuous strand of yarn!

This class is for absolute beginners to “I know enough to be dangerous” beginners.

Bring your wheel or spindle if you have one, or we will have a few to practice on.  Fiber to spin is provided, but you may also bring your own.

You’ll learn the parts of the spinning wheel, the basic mechanics of spinning, and practice spinning a continuous strand.  The goal for the course is to be comfortable trying out different spindles and wheels to determine your preferences, as well as learning the basics of spinning.
